Fees and Charges
The following schedule of fees and charges is for the 2009 school year and some adjustments may be necessary for 2010.
ENROLMENT FEE $100.00 per student at the time of enrolment. This fee meets the costs associated with the enrolment process and is non-refundable. TUITION FEES Years 7 - 8 $ 1,860.00 p.a. Invoiced over 3 Terms Years 9 - 10 $ 2,058.00 p.a. Invoiced over 3 Terms Years 11 & 12 $ 2,682.00 p.a. Invoiced over 3 Terms Fees are discounted for the second and subsequent children. The fourth child does not pay tuition fees. BOOK HIRE A book hire scheme exists for all students. The book hire fee covers the cost of hiring textbooks. Years 7 - 8 $ 240.00 p.a Years 9 - 10 $ 300.00 p.a. Years 11 $ 390.00 p.a. Year 12 $ 420.00 p.a. SCHOOL BUILDING LEVY Years 7 - 12 $ 450.00 p.a. A Building Levy at Mount St Joseph is charged to each family. Where a family has two or more children it is billed at a pro rata rate, e.g. two children attending two Catholic schools in the region 50% of each levy, and three children at three Catholic schools 33% of each levy. SUBJECT LEVIES Some subjects require the school to purchase additional materials for the use of students, e.g. Visual Art, Design and Technology. These costs are charged to the individual student's account.
EXCURSION, RETREAT AND CAMP FEES These fees are on a collection basis and paid in advance of the event taking place.
FUNDRAISING LEVY An amount of $50.00 per family will be levied to the student’s account.
Enrolment carries an obligation to pay ALL required School Fees and Levies.
