Arma Lucis - The MSJ Ex-Students' Association
As you may already be aware, in 2006, a group of enthusiastic ex-students representing graduates from the beginning of MSJ in 1960 through until today, formed the ex-students committee. We are now a separate body from Mount Saint Joseph and all ex-student details will be kept by us and no longer by the school.
Our objective is to continue to foster the community and Josephite spirit which was so prevalent at MSJ. We will do this by keeping you informed about upcoming school events and reunions. We are working towards the celebration of the golden 50th anniversary of MSJ in 2010! That's only a few months away!
In order to ensure our database information is current, I encourage you go to the 'Contact Us' section of this website and update your details. Also, if you are in contact with friends who have moved interstate or overseas, please let them know. Personal details collected will solely be used for school related matters, i.e. reunions, etc. Please be assured that we are not permitted by the Privacy Act to disclose your personal information.
You may be reading this and thinking why should I bother? Or you may not feel you have anything in common with old school friends? However, we definitely all have one thing in common - we make up the pages in the history book of MSJ and it won't be the same without you. Regardless of when you walked the school halls or where you are now, join us in this celebration. In the spirit of Mary MacKillop: 'never see a need without doing something about it.' In order to make a difference, we need to come together and do something about it!
I believe it is worth celebrating the amazing women we are and our contribution to the community, both professionally and personally. Besides, it's never too late to return to the MSJ family as a daughter who has remained a MSJ girl at heart.
If you have any questions or would like to participate in future ex-student events, please contact us on mailto:ALESA@msj.nsw.edu.au. We warmly welcome the support of all mothers, daughters and teachers of the MSJ family.
I look forward to keeping you informed and seeing you at future events. Please continue to visit this website often to find out what's happening at MSJ!
